Baby Huey is a cartoon character created by Martin Taras for Famous Studios, a former division of Paramount. His first animated appearance was in a Noveltoons short in 1950. The character was also featured in Harvey Comics, following St. John Publications, which released his first comic story in 1949. Huey is a large duckling who is naïve and surprisingly strong. He sometimes causes problems for his family and peers, and especially for the fox that regularly tries and fails to eat him.
