All Hail King Julien is a 2014-17 Netflix orignal CGI animated show created by DreamWorks. The series serves as the second animated series of the Madagascar franchise after The Penguins of Madagascar, preceding A Little Wild. ran for five seaons and a sub-series subtitled, Exiled, a season the follows the events of the the fourth season finale. It is a prequel to the franchise, focusing on the eponymous King Julien XIII, taking his uncle, King Julian XII's throne to the kingdom of Madagascar.
