Ms. Marvel (real name: Kamala Khan) is a Marvel Comics superheroine who first appeared in 2013. She is a teenager with shapeshifting powers, notably stretching and changing size, and takes the superhero name of her idol Carol Danvers, who started going by Captain Marvel. She is also one of the most prominent Muslim characters in pop culture.
