Earthworm Jim is an animated television series based on the video game series of the same name, created by Doug TenNapel and lasting from September 1995 to December 1996. Just as the games do, it follows earthworm-turned-superhero Jim on his adventures with sidekick Peter Puppy as they fight against a legion of supervillains including Queen Slug-for-a-Butt and Psy-Crow.

Jim tricks an alligator into eating his two friends, and is eventually eaten by their mother.
