The Garfield Movie is an American animated film produced by Columbia Pictures and Alcon Entertainment, and released theatrically in May 2024. The movie is an animated adaptation of the long-lasting comic strip series by Jim Davis, featuring the backstory of how Jon Arbuckle first adopted Garfield when he was a kitten. Sometime later, Garfield is reunited with his long-lost father after being kidnapped, forcing the two to rekindle their estranged relationship while on the run together.
