Kill la Kill is an anime series directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, known for his work on Gurren Lagann. It debuted in 2013 and is the first television series produced by Trigger.
The series follows Ryuko Matoi, a schoolgirl who is on a journey to find the murderer of her father, who becomes a part of a superhuman high school named Honnouji Academy and befriends its student council president, Satsuki Kiryuin.
