Петя и Красная Шапочка is a short animation directed by Evgeniy Raykovskiy and Boris Stepantsev. The movie was created before the former Soviet Union's collapse and there appears to be a translation error in the English title. The main character is named Петя which has both masculine and feminine translations, Peter or Petia respectively. The translator mistook Peter for Little Red Riding Hood and translated the film as Petia and Little Red Riding Hood.

The film starts with Peter sneaking into a movie theater through a loose board. He ends up behind a movie screening of Little Red Riding Hood and accidentally trips into the screen. Somehow, Peter ends up in the movie where he sees the Wolf approach Little Red Riding Hood. He decides to stop the Wolf by pulling several tricks on him. One of his tricks was to switch Grandma with a decoy made from a bag of old clothes and a teapot. The Wolf falls for the trick and is shown stuffed eating the decoy.

He's back to normal the next time his full body is shown.
