After concluding its initial run in August 2008, the series would continue its syndication by printing additional reruns. The comic strip follows the day-to-day life and growing pains of the Patterson family in Toronto, Ontario. Unlike many other family-based comic strips, the characters all gradually aged and developed in real time over the course of the series.
