Wait Till Your Father Gets Home is an animated sitcom produced by Hanna-Barbera and aired in the 1970s. Despite being controversial and having only a two-year run, it inspired many later animated sitcoms featuring semi-dysfunctional families, such as The Simpsons. This show follows the Boyle family, made up of father Harry, mother Irma, daughter Alice, and sons Chet and Jamie. Harry often has friction with Alice and Chet due to their differing views, which drives the story in the episodes. In addition, their neighbor Ralph Kane is an anti-conspiracy theorist and prejudiced extremist. Even though he and Harry are friends, Harry is clearly against his opinions.

The Commune (S01E20)

Alice decides to live in a commune where the monk has her picking radishes, but he is really a fraud wearing a girdle to hide his real weight.
