Monkeybone is an American live-action/stop-motion hybrid film directed by Henry Selick and adapted from the graphic novel Dark Town by Kaja Blackley, released by 20th Century Fox on February 23, 2001. The film was a critical and commercial failure. The film depicts a cartoonist named Stu Miley (played by Brendan Fraser) waking up in his own imaginary world of lost souls while in a coma, encountering his rascally creation Monkeybone (voiced by John Turturro) as he aims to return to the world of the living.

The film's official website, BiteMyMonkey.com, contained three Flash cartoon shorts depicting the character of Monkeybone, voiced by Wally Wingert in place of Turturro.

Lo-Fat Mayhem (E02)

By a swimming pool, Monkeybone overhears a woman bragging to her friends that she can "never be too thin or too annoying," so he tempts a fat boy tied to the lifeguard's tower with sweets and pastries, causing him to run so fast that he sends the tower toppling down, catapulting the woman from her chair into an ice cream cart. She loves the taste of the ice cream so much that she eats the whole lot, gaining weight to immobility in an instant.
