Granblue Fantasy is a role-playing video game developed by Cygames and released exclusively in Japan in March 2014. It also has multiple side products, such as the webcomic Grand Blues! and the spin-off game Granblue Fantasy Relink. In this game, the player controls an inhabitant of the Sky Realm, made up of floating islands in the sky. They and their friend Vyrn one day come to the aid of a girl named Lyria, who is being chased by the evil Erste Empire for her mysterious power. This leads to them traveling to the island of Estalucia to both escape from the empire and learn about the player character's missing father.

During the event "Ramen Travels with Cassius," Cassius puts on weight in his pursuit of eating different kinds of ramen. He sheds the fat from dancing with Lilele, but he rebounds in the end from overindulging on bog ramen.
