Gabriel DropOut

Gabriel DropOut is a manga series created by Ukami, running in the magazine Dengeki Daioh G since 2013. An anime adaptation produced by Doga Kobo aired in 2017, and a spin-off titled Tapris SugarStep ran from 2018 to 2020. The premise is that angels who graduate from a school in heaven are sent to Earth to become true angels, achieved by learning about humans and guiding them on the right path. Gabriel White Tenma, who was the valedictorian of her class, turns into a slacker addicted to video games after arriving on Earth. The series follows her life as she attends a human high school along with her friends of angels and demons, such as her best friend, the demon Vignette.
