What's wrong with Bertie? is a British book by Tony Bradman and Peter Stevenson released in 1996. It is about a talented rabbit named Bertie who just wants to enjoy his hobbies in peace and quiet. However, his fourteen siblings constantly invade his solitude as they want to enjoy his paintings, music, and stories. They interrupt Bertie several times before he finally manages to be alone, but he learns that being alone meant having no one to share his work with.
Each one of Bertie's siblings has their own quirk that escalates with each interruption. His brother Barry is constantly eating carrots throughout the book and gains weight with each appearance. Despite this, Barry returns to his regular weight once the siblings find Bertie alone in the woods.
