I remember a series of shorts about a pair of siblings (a boy and a girl) who had a talking pet monkey. I think it was on Fox Kids. I remember an episode where the boy had to clean his room before their parents came and the monkey eat all the clothes and became fat. It was a really weird show, and I don’t know if I dream it or if It really existed.

I didn't watch Fox Kids when I was younger but did find the programming list on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_programs_broadcast_by_Fox_Kids

A special called Chimp Lips Theater is listed and that might be it. But if it is then the live-action portions can't be counted, only the animated parts.
