There's also Time Warp (Geronimo Stilton Journey Through Time #7) with A Mysterious Message. Thought I don't think this counts as the suit is only tight and Geronimo admits he gained in the last year or two. What do you think?

I actually found something like your first instance in the phoenix fantasy book. Geronimo gets forced into wearing an "accurately" sized 7 dwarves disguise. I didn't include it at first because I didn't know if it fits into any of the site's categories. But after looking around, I think both instances fit under the "Gags" category. As it is a common joke for characters to suddenly gain weight when trying on new or old clothes. I'm probably going to add these two instances later. But I'm not going to include the Time Warp one because it doesn't count.

There is also another instance in yet another "Kingdom of Fantasy" book, though I cannot recall which one... In the beginning Geronimo wins a "Stuff your face" contest, and as a result he is massively bloated when going to sleep - the chapter is even titled "A furry beached whale" because it is how he feels going to bed. I'll try to find back which Kingdom of Fantasy book it was

I found back the book in question! It is the second of the series, "Return to the Kingdom of Fantasy", but I don't have any picture on me unfortunately. And the record Geronimo won was "World Record for Stuffing your Face", with 101 plates of spaghetti - there is a nice stuffing sequence followed by a drawing of him very large in too-tight pajamas

Two Things: I just got the spaghetti scene and a later scene in the same book involving a chameleon.

I also just realized that some of these books have multiple versions. The ones I've been covering were the older ones while Scholastic appears to newer copies with new illustrations. For instance, in the old version of Amazing Voyage, all we see is the rainbow dragon's head and Geronimo. On the Scholastic page, the preview image shows the entire bathroom and the dragon licking Geronimo.
