Horton Hears a Who!

Horton Hears a Who! is an American computer-animated film produced by Blue Sky Studios based on the children’s book of the same name written by Dr. Seuss. The film was theatrically released on March 14, 2008. Following the rudimentary premise of the book, the film follows an elephant named Horton who discovers an entire civilization of microscopic creatures known as Whos that live in a tiny speck of dust which he then strives to protect. The film serves as an extended adaptation of the book with many additional plot points and characters not featured in the original story.

At one point early on in the film, Horton prevents the dust speck that called out to him from falling into the pool by drinking enough water to slightly lower the pool’s surface. He very briefly appears bloated after swallowing all the water he drank.
