Deep Duck Trouble Starring Donald Duck, also known as The Four Treasures of Donald Duck in Japan, is a platformer game for the Sega Master System and Game Gear. It can be considered a sequel to the Lucky Dime Caper, which released in 1991, and has similar gameplay mechanics to Castle of Illusion. Players control Donald Duck in a series of stages that can be played from the map in any order, as he journeys to release his Uncle Scrooge from a strange curse.
Cutscenes
On his latest treasure hunt, Scrooge McDuck accidentally puts on a cursed pendant that causes him to inflate into a blimp. Donald Duck is tasked to return the treasure to its original location, around the neck of a goddess statue, in order to break the curse. In the game’s ending, Donald takes a crown from the same treasure room and puts it on his head, before being told that all the treasures bear the exact same curse. Scrooge, Huey, Louie, Dewey and the now blimped Donald head off into the sunset on their next adventure to return the crown.
