A wiki is supposed to have articles. That's what makes it informative. It's par for the course to go for high quality. You think no one will care about the series a sighting comes from? That they won't be interested in a piece of media that could be new to them? Well, some are. One reason we have these standards is so people will get a strong idea about the premise. Besides, writing is a necessary skill. A little practice wouldn't hurt.

And of course those errors have to be fixed. Leaving them as they are could confuse and misinform people. Poor organization, incorrect categories, etc. are not things this site needs. We aim for accuracy here. Plus, I'm not the only one who's had to fix these. Others will when they get the chance. You may think nobody cares, but they do.

Also, have you considered that there may be other reasons few people contribute? Like time or computer access?

By the way, you could have just said you weren't good at writing articles from the start. I had the impression you were being lazy.
