Touch Detective (known as Mystery Detective in most of Europe) is a mystery adventure game for the Nintendo DS. It was developed by BeeWorks and published by Success (Japan), Atlus (North America), and 505 Games (Europe). There are two sequels: Touch Detective 2 ½ and Touch Detective Rising 3: Does Funghi Dream of Bananas? There are also spin-off games. In the main games, the player controls Mackenzie, a young detective who inherits her father's agency and must solve different cases that occur in town.
In Episode 1 of the first game, Mackenzie, while in the Dream World, inflates Beatrice the landlady to get a key from her office. Beatrice's state also helps to capture the Dream Thief.
