Total Drama is a Canadian Flash-animated series of shows created by Jennifer Pertsch and Tom McGillis for Teletoon in Canada and Cartoon Network in America, beginning with Total Drama Island in 2007. A parody of reality shows like Fear Factor and Survivor, it focuses on a group of young contestants and their host/perpetual tormentor, Chris.
There also exists two spin-off series. One is Total Drama Presents: The Ridonculous Race, with a different set of rules and a new host named Don. The other is Total DramaRama, set in an alternate continuity where few notable contestants (specifically from Island) are children in a daycare.
