The Secret of NIMH 2: Timmy to the Rescue is the direct-to-video sequel film to The Secret of NIMH. Don Bluth, director of the previous film, was not involved. It follows Timothy Brisby, son of Jonathan and Mrs. Brisby. He goes to Thorn Valley to become a hero like his father. After meeting another mouse named Jenny, he learns that the mice who were assumed dead during the NIMH escape are still alive.
