The New Kid on the Block is a collection of child-oriented poems written by Jack Prelutsky, published in 1984. An animated computer game version was released in 1993 as part of Random House's Living Books series.
In the Living Books version of My Dog, He Is an Ugly Dog, clicking on specific words in the sixth verse will make the dog as fat as the poem describes him.
