Slayers is a light novel, manga and anime franchise created by Hajime Kanzaka and illustrator Rui Araizumi that began in 1989. It chronicles the many adventures of Lina Inverse, a teenage sorceress who, with her companions, defeats any mythical being doing the world harm.
