King of the Monsters 2 was an arcade game created by SNK and later released for the Sega Genesis and Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It is a tournament-style one-on-one fighting/wrestling game for the Genesis, and is a 2-player beat 'em up on the Super Nintendo, similar to the original arcade version. The player can control various giant monsters like the three protagonists, a giant fire breathing dragon named Super Geon, a robotic gorilla named Cyber Woo, and a mutated giant man named Atomic Guy. The Genesis port of the game adds the boss monsters from the arcade version as playable characters.
King of the Monsters 2 features a character named Aqua Slug who has the power to inflate his enemies by projecting three bubbles at them. They inflate, levitate and pulsate for a bit before returning to normal and falling from the air, taking damage. Aqua Slug also appeared in the Super Nintendo version but as an unplayable boss with the same move, but the inflation animation for the characters in that game are slightly different (the animation is missing a frame, and the inflated character doesn't levitate).
