Invader Zim is an animated series by Jhnoen Vasquez for Nickelodeon that originally aired from 2001 to 2002 before cancellation, although the rest of the second season premiered in 2006. It follows the exploits of Zim, a diminutive alien invader trying to conquer Earth, GIR, his defective robot sidekick, Dib, a boy paranormal researcher, and the horrible, nightmarish experiences they inflict on each other.
