Duel Masters is an anime based on the manga and card game of the same name, written by Shigenobu Matsumoto. It premiered on October 2012 and aired in English on Cartoon Network's Toonami in February 2004. The series follows Shobu Kirifuda, who aspires to be a great duelist and follow in his father's footsteps.
