Wikipedia

Beyblade is a brand of spinning top toys that were originally developed by Takara Tomy. Released in July 1999, a manga series was released by Viz Media to coincide with the toys. Several anime adaptations were released in the following years beginning with Beyblade and ending with Beyblade G-Revolution which finished in December 2003. The manga is still ongoing.

The original anime series follows Tyson, a young boy who is participating in tournaments to become the Beyblade World Champion. His journey begins in the Japan Regional Beyblade Qualifying Tournament where he meets Ray and Kai, who join him and form a team called the Bladebreakers. Throughout the anime, the Bladebreakers travel to different continents in their quest to win the world series.
