With Marvel's "What If?" coming next week Wednesday, I like to say something here since the recent trailer. Slow down the scene with Spider-Man and enhance the resolution as high as possible. It could be an optical illusion due to how fast the trailer's moving, but I appear to notice that Peter's body is somewhat more round-ish. I don't think that's "Zombie Hunter Spider-Man" (and I hope not) and in a different scenario all together. I won't complain if we got another pudgy Spider-Man since we got an Iron Man with an eating disorder in Issue 34. To be honest, I'm getting tired of seeing six-packs everywhere. Here's the link, Spidey's scene is at abouty 1:23: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9D0uUKJ5KI&ab_channel=MarvelEntertainment

My dearly belated apologies MMM unfortunately the photography of real life persons is strictly prohibited. As explained before in the guidelines “no live action works unless if the character is CGI or animated puppetries.” Both Willy Wonka films feature Violet’s infamous blueberry transformation. As a cartoon in Tom and Jerry’s version on the Dahl classic? Yes. Her two real life versions from 71 and 5? No. Just a helpful reminder for future article imagery.

Actually photorealistic comic CGI. Oops.

Yeah, the lining is somewhat uncanny in some cases. Still on that search of plus-sized heroes in the series.

While we're waiting, what other "What If" stories ad a character getting fat? Not everything has to be about muscles.

does hulk's death count?

Probably not since his belly doesn’t really expand during the scene, if anything it’s muscle growth which doesn’t fit here.

Well, since the one where "Erik saves Tony" is possibly coming next, I predict that Tony will probably stop working out and hopefully gain weight while Erik (who may become his bodyguard) does all the heavy hitting.

Okay, I read on episode 6 and my theory went out the window. Unless any other remaining 3 episodes this season have at least one weight gain, we have to unfortunately wait for season 2.

What kind of weight gain do you guys suppose we'll see in season 2? My prediction for one asks "What If Tony never created Ultron". It could take a page out of issue 34 by Tony developing an eating problem to cope with the stress of running Stark Enterprises just before he gets the idea for Ultron.
