King-Size Canary is a 1947 MGM cartoon short directed by Tex Avery. It centers around a hungry alley cat who tests a plant growth formula on a canary, making taller and wider but too much for the cat to eat, so the cat retaliates by drinking the formula himself and accidentally passing it to a bulldog and a mouse. This short influenced specific episodes of Mighty Mouse: The New Adventures and The Wacky World of Tex Avery.
