Puniru wa Kawaii Slime

Puniru wa Kawaii Slime is a romantic comedy manga created by Maeda-kun. It runs on the CoroCoro website, starting from 2022. The story follows a boy named Kotarou Kawaii, who created a toy slime as a young boy. The slime, which he named Puniru, comes to life and the two of them become close friends. After several years, Kotarou becomes a middle schooler with new interests. Puniru, however, has taken a humanoid appearance and acts childish and clingy towards him. An anime adaption of the manga that was produced by Toho Animation Studio premiered in October 2024 with a second season released in July 2025.
