Hardcore Leveling Warrior
Hardcore Leveling Warrior is a webcomic created by Sehoon Kim and published in 2017. It centers on Ethan Gong, also known as Hardcore Leveling Warrior, the top player of the video game Lucid Adventure. After going on a quest, a mysterious woman takes all his items and leaves him to be killed by a boss, reverting his level back to one. In the real world, he is then forced to live in a cell until he can make enough money in-game to pay off his debt to someone. In order to regain his rank and freedom, he has to ally himself with other players.
A sequel series titled Hardcore Leveling Warrior: Earth Game started in 2023. Set after the original comic's end, it follows Ethan and his friends on a new quest after Lucid Adventure combines with Earth.
