Mallard Fillmore is a political comic strip created by Bruce Tinsley, who first made the titular character to be a mascot for the entertainment section of local newspaper The Daily Progress. It was later picked up by The Washington Times in 1992, then syndicated by King Features Syndicate in 1994. The comic eventually went on hiatus after a particularly controversial strip in 2019, but it resumed months later with Loren Fishman as the artist. The strip follows a duck who works as a television news reporter, expressing conservative opinions in a world of liberals.
