Naše Karkulka is a Czech animated short film produced by Bratři v triku, and released in 1960. It is an adaptation of Little Red Riding Hood directed by Jiří Brdečka. It also contains several differences from the original tale. For example, the film completely skips over Little Red Riding Hood talking to the wolf on her way to her grandmother's house.
Upon reaching the grandmother's house, the wolf comically swallows a garden gnome lawn ornament after mistaking it for a person. From there, he disguises himself as a sick dog so he can get close to the grandmother and eat her. He also eats her radio and Little Red Riding Hood when she comes. Troubled by the two dancing and playing with the radio in his stomach, the wolf goes to the hospital. The doctors, who are also Red Riding Hood's parents, free her and her grandmother. The family then fills the unconscious wolf with balloons and let his floating body go near an airfield during strong winds. The wolf floats along for a while until a passing jet wakes him up and he yawns, letting out all of the balloons and falling back where he started from.
