The World's Worst Children is a children's anthology book written by David Walliams and illustrated by Tony Ross. It contains ten cautionary tales about five boys and five girls. Each child has a bad habit that's common amongst kids their age but taken to extreme levels. These habits usually lead to some sort of harm to the child or the people around them.
One of the tales involves a girl nicknamed Windy Mindy and her habit of farting. She, somehow, learns to skillfully play the tuba by farting into it and is labeled a musical prodigy by her music teacher. He manages to book her a recital at a highly prestigious venue. On the day of the recital, Mindy prepares backstage by eating a lot of gassy food and soda.
