Return of Hanuman is an Indian animated film directed by Anurag Kashyap and produced by the Percept Picture Company in December 2007 as a direct sequel to the 2005 animated film Hanuman. Based on characters and stories from Hindu mythology, the film tells the story of Hanuman's reincarnation as a human child named "Maruti" in the village of Bajrangpur to help its people not as a god, but a person.
At one point in the film during Maruti's rapidly developing childhood, he has a nightmare fearing that the villagers will restrain him from eating due to his immense appetite. Overcome with fear from the dream, he sleepwalks and eats most of the villagers' food supplies in the middle of the night until his mother finds him.
Later, the snake demon Kaladansh begins suffocating the inhabitants of Bajrangpur by inhaling all of the air. He is then defeated by Hanuman, who deflates him like a balloon.
