Recovery of an MMO Junkie (or Neto-juu no Susume) is a web manga created by Rin Kokuyō. It launched on Comico in 2013, but went on hiatus in 2015. It was officially ended in 2018 because of the creator's failing health. An anime adaptation produced by Signal.MD also aired in 2017. The main character is Moriko Morioka, a 30-year-old woman who quits her office job and chooses to live as a NEET. She tries out an MMORPG called Fruits de Mer, playing as a male character named Hayashi. She soon befriends a female player character named Lily and joins her guild. Meanwhile, Moriko has an encounter in real life with Yuta Sakurai, a businessman who may have online ties with her.
