Tensai Bakabon is manga series created by Fujio Akatsuka and published by Kodansha Ltd. and Shogakukan Inc. The series was originally published in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in April 1967 and ran until December 1992 across several different additional magazines.
The series also had a total of five anime adaptations: Tensai Bakabon, Ganso Tensai Bakabon, Heisei Tensai Bakabon, Rerere no Tensai Bakabon, and Shinya! Tensai Bakabon.
The series’ premise follows the overly comedic situations of a young boy named Bakabon, who, despite the title of the series, is not very smart. As the series went on, his far more foolish father became more of the main character with most of the stories and episodes focusing on his ridiculous methods to solve simple problems.

The Revenge That Makes You Fat (E13b)
Bakabon’s dad steals “pigmine” diet supplement pills from a scientist that instantly makes people full and fat. He uses them to cause trouble for several people and animals before accidentally swallowing one himself while also giving one to Bakabon. By the next morning, they’ve lost the extra weight, but their stomachs are still stretched out.
