High School Debut (or Koukou Debut) is a romance manga created by Kazune Kawahara. It ran in Bessatsu Margaret from 2003 to 2008, and it was also adapted for a CD, light novels, and a film. Haruna Nagishima did her best at softball in middle school, but decided to find romance after entering high school. Unfortunately, she doesn't know how to make herself attractive. She later meets Yoh Komiyama, a popular boy whom she thinks can coach her on this issue. He eventually agrees to help on the condition that she doesn't fall in love with him.
Volume 11, Chapter 43
Haruna thinks that Yoh wants to break up with her, making it hard for her to sleep. She eats more to help with this, but gains weight as well.
