Mr. and Mrs. Green is a collection of educational children's books written and illustrated by Keith Baker. Each book features the food-loving alligator couple, the Greens, and their adventures in numbers. The primary lesson behind each book usually revolves around counting but there are occasional bits of basic math.
Meet Mr. and Mrs. Green:100 Pancakes
An extra story known as 100 Pancakes is only found in the "Meet the Greens" collection book. As the name implies, Mr. Green declares that he could eat 100 pancakes one morning and he manages it with help from Mrs. Green. Despite being stuffed, and it still being breakfast, Mr. Green has some room left over for a slice of chocolate cake.
Cookies: A Mr. and Mrs. Green Adventure
While Mrs. Greeen is out, Mr. Green finds a batch of cookies with a note telling him the cookies are terrific but he misreads as terrible. Mr. Green then samples the cookies to see what's wrong with them and quickly ends up slightly bloated from eating them all.
