Bakegyamon is an anime and manga series from 2006. Once every 44 years, the game of Bakegyamon happens, and monsters are pitted against each other with humans paired with them. The ultimate prize for the winner is a wish. The protagonist, Sanshiro Tamon, is invited to play the game after he desired to go on an adventure.

In the episode's game, Sanshiro and Mizuki climb the mountain together. At one point, they stop at a river, and Sanshiro drinks to the point of bloating.
