Calvin and Hobbes is a syndicated comic strip created by Bill Watterson. The comic series features the friendship between the two titular characters, a six-year-old boy and a tiger of ambiguous existance respectively, and their views of life or knack for getting in trouble. While the series began in November 1985 and ended December 1995, it is considered to be one of the most iconic and beloved comic strips ever syndicated.
