Excel Saga is a manga series created by Rikdo Koshi back in 1996. It was adapted into a 25-episode anime produced by J.C Staff in 1999.
It focuses mainly on a young girl named Excel on her daily life as she tries to keep her normal life to accompany her work under the secret organization of Across, who plan to conquer the world.

Excel meets her new friend, Cosette, who gives her free food and as a result, Excel stuffs herself to the point of a bloated, immobile state.

Excel's rage leads to her inflating and exploding for comedic effect.
