Cheerios is one of the most popular cereal brands around. It was first manufactured in 1941 by General Mills under the brand "CheeriOats."
Apple Cinnamon Cheerios
Apple Cinnamon Cheerios were first available in 1988. The advertising campaign for this flavor features a handful of reoccurring characters, including Apple and Cinnaman, the heroes, and Sprinklegator, an evil alligator who devoted his life to eating Apple Cinnamon Cheerios after discovering how good they taste. In 1992, General Mills included one of two small flipbooks featuring those three characters in boxes of Cinnamon Apple Cheerios.
