Blue Exorcist (sometimes known as Ao No Exorcist) is an anime adaptation of the manga series of the same name. While the manga is still in production as of April 2009, the anime only ran from April 2011 to the following October. The show mainly focuses on a teenage boy named Rin Okumura. Both he and his twin brother, Yukio, are revealed to be the off-spring of a powerful demon named Satan. After the exorcist who raised them is killed while protecting him and his brother, Rin strives to become an exorcist himself and defeat his father, despite his demonic abilities and heritage.
