Birthday Boy is a 2017 children's chapter book written by David Baddiel and illustrated by Jim Field.
The premise is that a boy named Sam Green whom, after wishing upon a shooting star, is able to celebrate his birthday every single day. However, due to eating too much special breakfast in bed and too much birthday cake, he ends up gaining a significant amount of weight. Luckily, he's able to lose his excess fat after hearing the news of his grandfather's disappearance.
