Summer Time Rendering is a manga created by Yasuki Tanaka. It was serialized from 2017 to 2021, and an anime adaptation began airing in 2022. Protagonist Shinpei Ajiro returns home for the funeral for his old friend Ushio, who is claimed to have drowned. Learning about the bruises on her neck, Shinpei suspects she was murdered. Strange events begin to happen, caused by beings known as "Shadows," so Shinpei seeks out answers.
