Harry Potter is a set of fantasy novels written by J.K. Rowling, released from 1997 to 2007. Due to worldwide popularity, it grew into an ongoing multimedia franchise (also known as Wizarding World) which includes films, games, spin-off books, and more. The main story follows the title character, who is a young wizard attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. As he and his friends learn the magic arts, Harry must also face the forces of the dark wizard Voldemort.
