Super Gals! is an anime series based on the manga Gals! created by Mihona Fujii, broadcast for one year from April 2001. The main character, Ran Kotobuki, is a member of the Japanese kogal subculture but also the daughter in a family of police officers, and proclaims herself as the "world's greatest gal".
