Bakugan: Battle Planet is a Japanese-American-Canadian anime series and serves as a reboot to the previous Bakugan Battle Brawlers series. It follows a group of children called "The Awesome Ones", consisting of Dan Kouzo, Shun Kazami, Wynton Styles and Lia Venegas as well as their dog Lightning, who come across a race of biomechanical creatures called Bakugan. After befriending them, they start utilising them to battle criminals using other Bakugan and defend their neighborhood.
