Whale Island is a science-fiction themed virtual band created by the Chinese design collective Whale Dream.

It's cartoon members live on the back of a giant whale in a flooded, post climate-diaster world. The tongue-in-cheek premise is that, inpired by reading about earth's ancient history, they write nostalgic pop songs with pro-consumerism themes.
